Swara
With a themed combination of ‘Transparency+Layers’ I devised this superhero comic book character along with her branding. Swara means musical tone and is derived from the origin of a classical Indo-European language from India called, Sanskrit. Through initially determining her name was I able to develop and illustrate effectively the comic book character showcased in the final designs while implementing the main theme at hand within the process of drawing her, her main symbol and her modified versions. The meaning behind her name gives insight into where her powers are derived as she uses the tone of whatever she's listening to through her headphones to create vibrations that could be friendly or deadly depending on whether she encounters a friend or foe. Overall I used both my design and illustrative skills to develop both her and the rest of her branding and paraphernalia.
